Our vision

Our vision is that with the fewest possible products and with some basic measures, those who choose our system will have the best possible starting point for optimal health.

Development-oriented

We are open to new knowledge and are highly adaptable. The field of nutrition is complicated. It is difficult to research diet precisely because it is so complex. We are aware that there is a lot we don't know, but as true "professional nerds" we keep ourselves constantly updated, and if we come across something that we think is smarter than the way we have done it before, rest assured that we use that knowledge and bring it into product development. We continuously improve our products if we learn something new that can make a positive contribution.
We want to pass on the knowledge we have and share what we can.

With a heart for the sea

The ocean is vulnerable and overexploited. As a producer of products originating from the ocean, we at SanOmega feel a special responsibility to manage ocean resources in a sustainable and ethical way.

To avoid overloading nature, we use wild fish from sustainably managed stocks. We use oil from anchovies, which have the highest content of the omega-3 fatty acid EPA. Fishing is regulated by international agreements. This avoids the problem of overexploitation of the stock.

All our subcontractors meet the requirements of "Friend of the Sea"

Our sympathies lie with those who want to focus on the overexploitation and littering of the sea. If we want to leave the ocean's resources to our children and grandchildren, we cannot allow individuals to enrich themselves for short-term gain at the expense of nature.

SanOmega has become a way of life for us. We see that we need to work holistically and in many areas at the same time. We believe in a raw material-based diet that takes care of the environment, preferably organic, locally sourced and with a focus on animal welfare.

As divers, we have a heart for the ocean. A big problem in the ocean is abandoned fishing gear. This fishing gear causes the animals in the sea to get trapped and die. This problem is self-reinforcing as the dead fish act as bait for new fish. In Norway, recreational diving clubs receive funding to retrieve abandoned fishing gear. In addition, the state is an active contributor to retrieving lost fishing gear. We believe that global measures are needed here.
